Thankyou to Miss Krause and year 1/2J for their wonderful sharing of prayer this morning. Today is World Environment Day and the children reminded us about our responsibility to do all we can to care for our beautiful world so that we and our children and our children's children can enjoy it. Today is also Queensland Day, so let's all start showing we care for the environment here in our own wonderful part of the world.
We also had some of our Prep and Year 4 students introduce us to our yearly Babi and Rosies appeal. We are all encouraged to show generosity and compassion by bringing in tea, milo, soup, etc. to be shared with those in our community who are less fortunate than ourselves.

It was a fantastic message the children of 1/2J delivered. We all left taking some important messages with us and the discussions that followed with the children were terrific.
