Farewell to Mrs Bellamy

This morning on assembly, we farewelled Mrs Bellamy as she begins her retirement after more than 4o years in Catholic Education - 12 years at St Anthony's. Mrs Bellamy has been an integral member of our school community and has shared her deep faith with many students and staff alike. Children have been blessed in having Mrs Bellamy as a class teacher - her devotion to God and her focus on the importance of prayer in our lives has been a valuable asset to all. Our school motto this year has been "Never see a need without doing something about it" and Mrs Bellamy encapsulates this by the way she lives her life. She quietly helps out whenever and wherever she sees a need, never seeking recognition for her efforts. She will be greatly missed by our school community - staff, children and families alike - and we wish her an abundance of God's blessings as she begins her retirement. The slideshow shows some of the moments of today's celebration of Mrs Bellamy's time with us. Farewell, good luck and God bless, Mrs Bellamy!
