Thank you to year 7J and Mrs Rogers for their prayerful reflection on the Feast of Pentecost which we celebrate this Sunday. At this time we celebrate the birth of the Church - when Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to his disciples in the form of wind and fire and they were transformed into messengers of the Good News. We are called also to be messengers of the Good News of Jesus to the world. Over the next two weekends, 78 children from both St Anthony's and St Luke's parishes will be celebrating the sacraments of Confirmation and First Communion, when they will be accepted fully into the Church to be witnesses to God's love in our world. We wish them every blessing on their special day.
