Thank you to Mrs Buckley and 4M who presented a beautiful prayer on Mother's day for us this week. They reminded us of the love that Mary had for her son Jesus and the love that our mothers and all the people in our lives who take on the mothering role, have for us. A special thnks to Thomas from year 6 who sang a wonderful song for Mums. The video below is of the Wedding Feast at Cana, where Jesus showed his love and respect for his mother Mary, by performing his first miracle. We also had a visit during the assembly from Trish Ryan of Caritas who accepted a cheque for $2 000 raised during our My Kitchen Rocks initiative. Well done, all! What a great way of never seeing a need without doing something about it!
