Congratulations to Mrs Austin, the Social Justice group, year 7 students and all staff who contributed to the success of our Badges for Catholic Missions Appeal this term. Mr McGowan from Catholic Missions accepted a cheque for $1200 on assembly this morning - monies generously donated by the students and staff of our school as they made badges for the missions. As an incentive to make the target of $1000 (which was exceeded!), the male members of our staff promised to come dressed in fairy costumes when that magic number was reached. There was much excitement at Friday assembly, when the men made good on their promise and allowed themselves to be beautifully attired in fairy regalia and presented to the students, staff, parents and visitors this morning.
