Week Two, Term Two

This afternoon we commemorated ANZAC Day with a beautiful prayer reflection led by Mr Savage and prepared by Mr Griffin and students from across the year levels. We remembered the sacrifices made by men and women as they worked to protect our country in time of war and conflict. We acknowledged the work still done today by the dedicated people of the armed forces in their efforts to maintain peace and freedom for all.
Our craft today will be ANZAC poppies in commemoration of those who lost their lives, not only during the Gallopoli campaign, but in all conflicts throughout our history. Tomorrow is a holiday to celebrate ANZAC Day. See you in the library!
