This morning , Catholics woke up to the news that the 266th pope has been elected in Rome. Cardinal Jorge Bergoglio, a 76 year old Argentinian, will be our first Latin American pope. He has taken the name of Francis Ist because of this saint's mission of justice for the poor and care of the world. We wish him well in his endeavours to lead the catholic church.
