Thank you to Mr Nash and the students of Year 3/4J who shared a reflective and timely prayer with us during Child Protection Week. The focus of their liturgy was how we can help protect each other at school by being good friends. The children enacted the story of Peter's denial of Jesus and how it affected him to know he had let his friend down when he needed him. We were encouraged to focus on two points: listen to our friends if they are upset or worried - believe them and don't judge them; and always remember to speak to an adult - a parent, teacher, the principal or any other adult you trust - if you are worried about your happiness or safety. Thank you to all, for sharing such an important message!
