Yesterday our school and parish community celebrated a Mass of welcome at 9.00 a.m. in the church. The celebration of Eucharist was well attended by families, staff and the wider parish community. The school choir conducted by Mrs Francis, led us in song with the assistance of our two guitarists - Mr Savage and Mr Griffin. A special thankyou to Nick Tyler who played the organ. Students and staff from the school were involved in various other aspects of the celebration including readings, offertory procession, etc. The barbecue that followed the mass was generously provided by the parish and proved most popular. Thanks to all those people who contributed to this wonderful celebration of our great community.
