Last Friday October 28, was World Teachers' Day. The description of a teacher as someone who takes your hand, opens your mind and touches your heart is as relevant in 2011 as it was when it was first penned. Teaching is about shaping lives. It is about companioning as much as it is about leading. It is about exploration as much as discovery. The ongoing influence of good teaching is immeasurable.
