Final Week Term 3 Announcements

This morning on assembly, our school community thanked and farewelled Mrs Smith who has been teaching Year 3M while Mrs Bellamy has been on long service leave. We always welcome Mrs Smith's expertise and wish her well for the remainder of the year. We look forward to welcoming Mrs Bellamy back in Term 4. This morning, we also thanked and farewelled Mrs Carroll who has been our acting APA for this term in the absence of Mrs McCombe, who has also been on long service leave. We have all appreciated Mrs Carroll's kindness and professionalism and wish her all the very best as she returns to Sunnybank to take up the APA role there. We look forward to seeing Mrs McCombe back next term. This morning, we also congratulated Miss Ringer who will be marrying during the holidays. She joins Miss Davis who married a month ago. Miss Davis is now Mrs Bohan and Miss Ringer will become Mrs Craig. We wish her and her future husband Fraser, a very happy and special day. We also acknowledge our various year level groups - Years 2, 4 and 5 - that have had their celebrations of learning this week - much is happening in our school that is worthwhile and good practice. The great circuit constructions made by Year 5 students during Science lessons with Mrs Rogers is just one example. We also acknowledge Year 5M. This class has been using the library on a Friday morning to share class liturgies that are planned, prepared and presented entirely by the students. It has been a privelege to witness the prayerfulness and maturity the students have shown not only in the creation of these prayer experiences, but also in their participation in each one.
