Next week is Book Week - One World, Many Stories. The book of the year in each category will be announced during the week by the Children's Book Council of Australia. Here at St Anthony's, we will be having a number of activities to celebrate Book Week. Each lunch time in the library will see craft activities and on Tuesday lunchtime, Mrs Crisp will be reading her book I See You and will follow it with an activity. Some good work from classes will be on display in the library and Year 5N and the Year 6 classes will be creating book trailers for novels they have enjoyed in class. On Tuesday morning at 8.30 a.m. we will have our book week dress-up parade and I am looking forward to seeing some interesting and innovative costumes in the theme from both students and staff. Prayer assembly on Wednesday morning will also centre around the theme One World, Many Stories and I thank those children who have generously volunteered to be part of this prayer.
