Thank you to Mr Lynam and 5J for their prayerful reflection on the Second Week of Lent and St Patrick's Day. We learnt that St Patrick found peace and direction through prayer. We too, can find that same peace that surpasses understanding by taking time to be with our God in prayer. We can also do this when we participate in daily Christain meditation at school. During Lent, our prayers can focus on the needs of others and how we can support all those experiencing pain and fear in their lives. One way of doing this is for each of us to create a poster Prayers for Japan, which we can photograph and put on the blog. The posters will then be linked to a site in Japan dedicated to the support of those people suffering from the effects of the earthquake and tsunami.
